Panoramic Tour of Edinburgh

An ideal way for your delegates to familiarise themselves with the many historic and tourist highlights of Edinburgh. Visit the historic Old Town and the World Heritage Site architecture of the New Town before continuing past the magnificent setting of the Botanical Gardens and onto historic Calton Hill. Continue past the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the award winning Scottish Parliament building and finally onto the historic Royal Mile and the tour’s conclusion on the famous Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle.
Edinburgh Castle, Royal Yacht Britannia and the Palace of Holyroodhouse

This tour visits three of Edinburgh’s finest attractions, beginning with historic Edinburgh Castle. This majestic landmark dominates the city's skyline, perched high on an extinct volcano offering stunning views of the city and surrounding hills. From here, it will be on to visit the Royal Yacht Britannia which proudly served the British Royal Family for over 40 years and sailed over one million miles on nearly a thousand official visits. Finally, you will visit the Palace of Holyroodhouse, which stands at the end of The Royal Mile against the spectacular backdrop of Arthur's Seat. This fine baroque palace is closely associated with Scotland's rich history and is perhaps best known as the home of Mary, Queen of Scots and as the setting for many of the dramatic episodes in her turbulent reign.
Rosslyn Chapel and Glenkinchie Whisky Distillery

Explore unique Rossyln Chapel, featured in Dan Brown’s best-seller The DaVinci Code. Famed worldwide for the beauty of its carvings and the aura of mystery and magic that surrounds it, this 15th Century Chapel is totally captivating. Continue to visit Glenkinchie Whisky Distillery, the home of 'The Edinburgh Malt', located in the rolling farmland of East Lothian. Glenkinchie houses an excellent visitor centre and exhibition in its listed red brick buildings and you will enjoy a guided tour and sampling session in the Distillery’s tasting rooms.
St Andrews and the Fishing Villages of Fife

Cross the Firth of Forth and enjoy spectacular views of the Forth Rail Bridge before entering the ‘Kingdom of Fife’. Journey around the pretty Fife coast road to the quaint fishing villages of Anstruther and Crail. It’s then a short journey around the coast to the delightful University town and birthplace of golf - St Andrews. An extended stop here allows for plenty of time to explore the historic sights, golfing ‘legends’, numerous shopping opportunities and a bracing walk along the West Sands.
Stirling Castle, The Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park

Spend the day in the land of Scots heroes Rob Roy, Robert the Bruce and William Wallace with a tour to the medieval stronghold of Stirling Castle and the beautiful nature and lochs of Scotland's first National Park on the bonny banks of Loch Lomond. Travel into the Trossachs, an area made famous by Sir Walter Scott and Victorian tourism, passing Lochs Venachar, Achray and Drunkie before stopping for a pub lunch at Aberfoyle. Highland Perthshire and the Famous Grouse Whisky Experience

Journey into scenic Highland Perthshire and visit Glenturret Distillery, home to the Famous Grouse Whisky Experience. Enjoy a private tour which will allow you to watch the process of making malt whisky, learn about the art of nosing and allow you to blend a selection of whiskies to produce the perfect result. Continue north over the Highland line, through the beautiful Sma' Glen and onto Aberfeldy. Walk up the stunning tree lined gorge with crashing waterfalls known as the 'Birks of Aberfeldy', a truly breathtaking place and which inspired Robert Burns to write a song of the same name.
Highland Games, Whisky Tasting and Edinburgh Murder Mystery Tour

A full day of activities with a very Scottish theme. Take part in your very own Highland Games, as teams of “clans” compete in Tossing The Caber, Haggis Rolling, Putting The Stane and Tug O’War. You will have to score highly in up to 10 different events in order to take home the title of Champion Clan. Toast your success with a tutored whisky tasting and then return to Edinburgh where a costumed Guide will be waiting to escort you on a walking tour of The Royal Mile. Travel back into Edinburgh’s mysterious and bloody past, visiting the scenes of many horrific tortures, murders and supernatural happenings within the historic Old Town. This wonderful, dramatic walking tour combines the best story-telling and the most gruesome history to be found anywhere in Europe.
