Travel west to the beautiful banks of Loch Lomond where a wonderfully scenic journey leads to the stunning coast of Argyll.

Enjoy lunch at the famous Oyster Bar on the shores of Loch Fyne and savour mouth-watering seafood and breathtaking views of the surrounding coastline. Visit picturesque Inveraray before continuing to the Cowal Peninsula, home to charming villages, mighty mountain peaks and deep glacial lochs.

Dine at a waterside restaurant where hand-dived scallops and plump langoustines are served overlooking the romantic Kyles of Bute.

A short ferry ride leads to the Kintyre Peninsula studded with quiet inns and hamlets. Spend the day discovering stunning beaches, charming shore-side villages and a land rich in history.

Your journey continues to the pretty village of Crinan, home of the Crinan Hotel where you’ll find one of Scotland’s finest seafood restaurants. This gastronomic jewel on Argyll’s west coast is a perfect haven in which to dine on jumbo prawns, crayfish, clams, lobster, mussels and oysters, freshly landed at the pier less than 50 yards from the restaurant’s kitchens.

Travel north to Oban, the beautiful hub of the southern Hebrides.

Kilmartin Glen, the cradle of ancient Scotland and brooding Castle Stalker are short journeys from Oban. Cruise and experience the exceptional variety of wildlife on the West Coast, sample one of the classic malt’s at Oban Distillery or visit 13th century Dunstaffnage Castle, overlooking the entrance to Loch Etive.

Dine at one of Argyll’s best-kept secrets with views over Loch Linnhe. The oysters are hand-picked from the Lismore oyster beds; mussels and langoustines are harvested from Loch Linnhe and Loch Etive, and the lobsters and crab are kept mouth-wateringly fresh in creels at the end of the pier, just yards from the restaurant.
Overnight – Oban

Travel on the beautiful coastal route between Oban and Fort William and into the heart of the Scottish Highlands. On the way visit Glencoe, Scotland’s most famous and atmospheric glen and pass by the foot of Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest mountain.

Your tour itinerary takes you up the Great Glen before it meets the sea at Loch Carron. Pass Eilean Donan, the most photographed of Scotland’s castles – your destination is a village arguably the prettiest in the West Highlands, where palm trees grow alongside the loch shore.

A full day on Skye to visit romantic Dunvegan Castle, sample fine island whiskies, enjoy a hike in the stunning surroundings, or climb aboard a fabulous boat cruise into the heart of the Cuillin mountains.

You’ll find one of Scotland’s very best restaurants on the shores of Loch Dunvegan. The seafood is collected off the boat as soon as it is landed and brought straight to the kitchen to be prepared, cooked and served. Prime white fish and shellfish of every kind arrive sparkling fresh from the cold, clear waters of Skye and feature on the menu.

Travel through an idyllic corner of North West Scotland where picturesque fishing villages are scattered all along the coast. Discover the tranquil Applecross Peninsula and enjoy one of the most spectacular road trips in the British Isles; the views of the Cuillin Mountains of Skye are spectacular and the beauty and grandeur of this rugged coastline is just breathtaking.
Overnight – Gairloch area

Visit famous Inverewe Gardens, walk along miles of deserted white beaches or explore ancient mountains and the magnificent splendour of Loch Maree. You could even try your hand at a spot of fishing or creeling in one of the nearby sea lochs or Highland rivers.

Spend the evening at a traditional Highland inn overlooking Gairloch harbour where guests return again and again to savour the renowned West Coast seafood, including locally caught lobster, crab, langoustine, mussels and scallops.

Depart Gairloch and travel from the Highlands to the Lowlands, through spectacular Glencoe, across wild Rannoch Moor and back along the banks of Loch Lomond to Glasgow.
