Highlights

Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)

Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) is Wales’ tallest mountain and can be conquered via six official different routes. Standing at 1,085 metres high, the views across the expansive national park are unrivalled from this pinnacle.

Whitesands & St David’s Head

This straightforward circular trail travels along White Sands Beach to the rocky features of St David’s Head. The trail offers wonderful sea views, rockscapes, and prehistoric monuments to explore along the way.

Aber Falls

Discover Eryri’s (Snowdonia) most dramatic waterfalls by visiting the Aber Falls. The waterfall plummets 120 feet and is situated to the north of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park on a highly accessible trail.

Strumble Head

Located on the stunning north Pembrokeshire coast, this walk will provide you with views over to the impressive Strumble Head lighthouse and beyond. Be sure to keep an eye out for wildlife on this trail as Strumble Head is a prime location for spotting dolphins, porpoises, whales and seals.

Beddgelert

Visit the quaint village of Beddgelert, located in the heart of Snowdonia and just a stone’s throw away from the imposing stature of Snowdon. Uncover the grave of ‘Gelert’ or meander along the river that cuts through the heart of this charming stone-built village.

Skomer Island

Take a gentle cruise to visit Skomer Island from the idyllic Marloes Peninsula and spend the day exploring this nature reserve which is home to a plethora of wildlife including thousands of puffins and guillemots.

Your accommodation will be on the doorstep of Wales’ most breathtaking scenery, surrounded by magnificent landscapes in every direction.

Pembrokeshire Coast National Park: Continue on to the breathtaking coastline of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, one of the best spots in the UK to spot wildlife. Here, you will be spoilt for choice between the rugged coast and the charming towns and villages that are the heartbeat of this region.

The natural beauty of this area is perfect to discover on foot, with a great range of trails on offer to suit every ability.

Itinerary

This is a multi-centre walking holiday which requires the use of a car. If you plan to bring your own vehicle, we are able to offer this holiday without a rental car.

We design each itinerary around your interests, so think of this as a starting point which can be tailored into something completely unique to you. You can start on the day of your choice, and are free to add extra nights or other destinations.

We will provide you with a variety of walking routes and sightseeing suggestions which means you are free to walk as much, or as little, as you please.

Walking Terrain

Eryri (Snowdonia): Spectacular mountain tracks, moorland, lakes and coastal paths.

Pembrokeshire Coast: Superb coastal walking along dramatic cliff paths and on pristine sandy beaches.

Day 1: Arrive in Eryri (Snowdonia)

Make your way to Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park today where your multi-centre walking holiday will begin. This region of outstanding natural beauty is full of endless opportunities for adventure.
Overnight – Eryri (Snowdonia)

Days 2 - 4: Walking in Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park

Walking recommendations include:

Easy: Aber Falls (3 miles / 4.5 km / 205m ascent / 1.5 hours)
Moderate: Vale of Ffestiniog (6 miles / 9 km / 275m ascent / 3 hours)
Challenging: Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) (7 miles / 11.7 km / 890m ascent / 5 hours)

Sightseeing recommendations include:

Explore Portmeirion
Visit the quaint stone-built village of Beddgelert

Overnight – Eryri (Snowdonia)

Day 5: Eryri (Snowdonia) to the Pembrokeshire Coast

Today you will make your way to the Pembrokeshire Coast – a drive of approximately 130 miles. Pembrokeshire offers a variety of stunning coastline, charming villages and towns, and is one of the most renowned areas to spot wildlife.
Overnight – Pembrokeshire Coast

Days 6 - 8: Walking in Pembrokeshire Coast National Park

Walking recommendations include:

Easy: Whitesands Bay & St David’s Head (4 miles / 6.5 km / 300m ascent / 2.5 hours)
Moderate: Ramsey Sound & Porth Clais (7 miles / 11.5 km / 315m ascent / 3.5 hours)
Challenging: Strumble Head (12 miles / 19.5 km / 705m ascent / 6.5 hours)

Sightseeing recommendations include:

Take a boat trip to Skomer Island
St David’s Cathedral
Visit Caldey Island run by Cistercian monks

Overnight – Pembrokeshire Coast

Day 9: Depart the Pembrokeshire Coast
