Established in Scotland in 2004, we are award-winning specialists in walking holidays and tailor-made travel in the UK & Ireland. Using first-hand knowledge and meticulous attention to detail, our small team plans and creates exceptional holidays for our clients.

Absolute Escapes was founded by Andy Gabe and Sheila Tulloch, who returned home from travelling with inspiration and a vision to showcase the beauty of the UK & Ireland through expertly crafted itineraries rooted in local knowledge. Over 20 years later, they have transformed Absolute Escapes into a multi-award-winning tour operator based in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town.
